The Gatsby Clause
We recognise that many individual schools and teachers do their best to integrate and offer into the curriculum careers advice and support adopting the eight Gatsby benchmarks of Good Career Guidance.
- 1A stable careers programme
- 2Learning from career and labour market information
- 3Addressing the needs of each pupil
- 4Linking curriculum learning to careers
- 5Encounters with employers and employees
- 6Experiences of workplaces
- 7Encounters with further and higher education
- 8Personal guidance
Yet we all recognise and through our research that the approach is neither consistent or cognisant of the changing nature of the employment markets and future study choices that our pupils must prepare for.
The Baker Clause is now with us as educators requiring us to offer independent support – but how do we ensure this is done in an environment of increasing workloads and demands on our time.
Alphas Careers is the solution to your School or your Trust.
Put simply, adopt our model and you can be rest assured that you are receiving support to all of your pupils – in addition, we will provide you with useful data for OFSTED and others bodies on participation and ultimate destinations and choices.Login / Register

No licence fees for you as a school and we take away all of the management of the process. All we ask is that you encourage your pupils to use the system and we do the rest, providing you with meaningful management information on your pupils.
What’s the cost?
